At KCIU, our mission is to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ by providing quality healthcare, education, and support to vulnerable populations. We believe that every individual deserves access to essential healthcare services, regardless of their background or socioeconomic status. By combining medical expertise with a heart for service, we aim to bring hope and restoration to those facing health-related hardships.

By empowering individuals and communities to take charge of their well-being, we strive to create a healthier society, one life at a time. Karin Community Initiatives Uganda is registered with the National Bureau for Non-Governmental Organizations of Uganda with the registration Number INDR4476433NB and has been operating in Gulu District – Uganda since 2001.

What we do
We are dedicated to transforming lives and communities through our comprehensive programs in healthcare, education, and economic transformation. AtKarin Community Initiatives Uganda, we believe in putting faith into action, embodying Christ's love and compassion in all that we do.
We are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services rooted in the love and compassion of Jesus Christ. God has enabled us to establish Agonga and Unyama facilities.
We offer early education services that prepare young children spiritually, socially, emotionally, and influence young children to love and follow Jesus Christ.
Our water solutions target all that depend on contaminated water sources. We ensure they have access to safe drinking water, proper hygiene and sanitation.
Helping communities get organized into groups and be helped to start income generating activities to earn a living and improve their livelihoods.
We strengthen health care systems asapproved by the Ministry of Health (MoH). We address RMNCAH, HIV/AIDS Testing & Counselling & Treatment, Malaria, Nutrition and NCDs.
