Clinic Program Insights: Jan–May 2025
Delivering health. Empowering communities. See how our clinics are performing across key health areas.
Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH)
Family Planning Utilization
Injectables remain the most preferred method, but education is needed to increase uptake of orals and implants.
- Injectables: High uptake
- Orals & Implants: Lower, needs education
ANC & PNC Trends
Antenatal and postnatal care coverage has improved through outreach efforts. Continued focus on early bookings and follow-ups is key.
Immunization
Despite increased targets, immunization uptake is low. We're expanding outreach to reach underserved communities and ensure children get full protection.
Laboratory Utilization
Over 1,381 tests were conducted. With 514 confirmed malaria cases treated, our labs are key in detecting and managing disease early.
Ultrasound Services
Utilization remains low. Midwives are now being trained to educate mothers on the benefits of early pregnancy scans.
WASH & CHI
Community hygiene programs are being revamped to improve awareness and participation.
Mental Health
34 clients counseled. Mental health integration underway, with expansion planned in Q2.
Challenges & Lessons Learned
- Stockouts of essential supplies (ITNs, Fancidar)
- Limited outreach programs due to HR gaps
- Service integration improves uptake
- Free services increase access and utilization
Recommendations
- Fill key HR gaps (mental health, sonography)
- Expand HPV and IPTp outreach
- Boost community mobilization for CHI
- Run monthly outreach programs consistently
- Enhance FP counseling and lab test awareness
