We live in the age of NCDs.
NCDs or Non-Communicable Diseases, literally mean diseases one cannot catch from another person: cancer, heart disease, diabetes and mental illness, etc.

This year KCIU is joining hands with several partners to fight NCDs. The Marathon and Medical camp this year will create awareness about the disease burden in this community and raise funds to purchase equipment for the health centers.

Be part of this
We can fight NCDs together in our time. But doing it depends on people like you getting involved and making serious commitments to prayer, action, and giving.

What can one person do? Plenty. Join KCIU.

PRAY
Commit yourself to ongoing prayer to fight NCDs. Encourage your church, family, and friends to join you in praying to fight NCDs. By praying to fight NCDS, we participate in God’s work of caring for all people in need.

ACT
Redouble your commitment to advocacy. KCIU wants to fight NCDs, and to do that, we need to build the political will to make NCDs a national priority. Put your faith into action by:
Supporting the upcoming Marathon and Medical camp.

GIVE
Provide the resources to leverage big changes. When you give a gift to KCIU , its impact is multiplied. For every $1 you donate, KCIU will purchase the medicines and medical equipment needed to carry out testing and screening at an early stage.

God’s grace in Jesus Christ moves us to help our neighbors, whether they live in the next house, the next state, or the next continent. Join us, and let’s work together to end hunger.

“So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.”
James 2:17 #fightNCDs
