Our healthcare team consists of highly skilled and experienced professionals who bring diverse expertise to our organization. From doctors, nurses, and medical specialists to counselors, administrators, and support staff, each member plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to our beneficiaries.
Behind the scenes, our dedicated administrators and support staff ensure the smooth functioning of our healthcare programs. They handle logistics, manage medical records, coordinate appointments, and provide essential administrative support that allows our healthcare professionals to focus on providing excellent care.

Board Members
Jokkene Timothy Okee is a seasoned business man. Jokkene is originally from Gulu. He is very passionate about Christ and as one of our first mentors and now serves as the Board Chairperson providing strategic program leadership. His favourite part of the job is seeing programs changing the lives of affected people and transforming his own community. When he's not in his businesses, Jokkene enjoys providing leadership in his community and in his free time he goes swimming.
Mrs Rufina Oloa Barigo, is a community development worker has been involved in administration for the committee members. She has worked with several organisations including UNICEF and ILO before this she worked with the Ministry of Labour and Gender. She now spends most of her time carrying our consultancies for the ILO agency. Mrs Oloa is an ardent supporter of the Christian Mothers Union. She enjoys having family around.
Dr. Drabe Rabbin is a medical doctor and in is his spare time he spends it in his farm. He joined Karin Community Initiatives Organisation to contribute his skills and knowledge in the medical and community development.
Mr. Opwonya John Odong is a committed board member driving positive change and development within Karin Community Initiative Uganda's endeavors.
Management Team
Shalom is an experienced finance professional with six years of experience in busy accounting firms. Before Joining KCIU in Oct 2022, Shalom has worked with Gourmet Gardens (U)Ltd, Mission Link International & Smart Applications International Uganda. She is skilled in Quickbooks, Auditing, GAAP accounting, financial reporting and holds a bachelors in Supply and Procurement management and CPA Certification.
Leonard is passionate about ensuring that KCIU website is well maintained, draft newsletters and design brochures to captures the unique spirit of the Karin brand. Before joining KCIU, Leonard worked as a Banking Officer at Exim Bank (U) Ltd where he spent most of his tenure in the Operations Department.
